Here you may download both the SpeakingBuddy! software and its additional components, such as the animated characters which are responsible for the reading and animation, the speech support to enable voices for the characters, and the text-to-speech engines, which gives the characters the ability to read a given text in a chosen language.
You should read first the terms and conditions for use.
The password for the BadWordFilter! is: speakingbuddy. Please change the password as soon as you install the software, as described on the Features page.

The SpeakingBuddy! software uses Microsoft® Agent technology and its animated characters, such as "Peedy", "Robby", "Merlin" and "Genie".
If you think you don't have them all installed on your computer, or if the SpeakingBuddy! can't seem to find them, you may download these characters directly from the Microsoft® Agent website, following the link below.
The use of these animated characters is subject to the Microsoft® Agent End-user License Agreement.

The SpeakingBuddy! software also uses the Microsoft® Speech API and some Text-To-Speech engines. That's what enable the animated characters to speak. Currently, the SpeakingBuddy! software is available only for "British English" and "American English".
